shouldn't the heavy rotating mass of an electric motor be similar to a gas engine? it might even be a bigger rotating mass than a gas engine.
ah....that would be a yes. EXCEPT while jumping. then the rotation stops.
the reality is, the current tech is ideally suited to MX racing from a power ( battery life ) standpoint, but for actual power delivery (electric motor characteristics) it's better suited to off road ( enduro/HS).
It's a good start, but they have a ways to go to get it so that it's a viable alternative for either.
wouldn't the motor spin w/ the wheels... just design an idle into the bike
how are they going to replace the feel and sound of a reving gas engine? To me that is part of the excitement of motor sports.
careful, starting to sound like a trail rider tim. youre reading too many kickstand posts!
railing a berm in 3rd with your bars dragging is more the adrenaline rush/excitement i'm looking for.. i dont care if the bike runs on gaterade! :highhorse:
i'd ride an electric bike if it made sense. let the nerds figure out the details!
its like having sex with a 12yr old Vietnamese prostitute. there is no better feeling.

wow.... why is that guy kicking his handlebars like that???
:bananapowerslide:
i figured it was the Def Leppard jammin' on the Ipod and that was just a well placed rock and roll kick
turn off your headlight and you can see the picture better
that reminds me... I need to change my taillight... Saki, do you have any tips on that???
yes, a sawzall or plasma torch works best.
i would recommend using your bikes gps navigation system to direct you to the right place to start cutting.
please remember to turn on your left turn signal before starting. safety first.
cool, thanks.... so I need to stick my left arm out straight when I do this???
yes, where you guys ride, 2 hands on teh bars at all time isnt important. :bananapowerslide:
