I got real frustrated today trying to pull off subs, and found this common denominator.....SPEED IS THE KEY. If you go too slow, you won't get enough momentum to really dive the nose into the water DEEP. At slower speeds, you will bury the nose, but won't truly sub the ski. Go fast enough and get on plane, then jump, pull up the rear, push down on the bars and push your body forward. Gas it on the final jump, blip the throttle throughout the move and gas it once you are under to pull out of it. I pulled off only two out of 30+ attempts- and finally realized I needed to go a lot faster than I was going originally.
