***RAD DUDE tube will not work on this ski with a stock tank, xmetal water box...Will be up for sale soon unless I figure something. I didn't weigh it but the tube seems lighter. Bummer.
Looks good, now hurry up!!
I'd use a flat washer ALONG with the lock washer. Try to get Allen head screws for the carbs, SO worth it IMO. Nice build, man!
Your bushing is prolly fine, they are made with that swirl in them.
Thanks. I don't remember the swirl on my last build.
Hey thanks for the tip. I have a long hose but I may just replace it.
I tried to PM you but your box is full.
Do you remember what size, ply, and color you purchased specifically?
Did you purchase any angled hoses for it?
The standard SJ setup should work fine, it did in my freak.
just for future reference you should always have your intermediate housing without the intermediate shaft bolted in place when lining up your pump on aftermarket hulls. The mounting could be somewhat off center where your intermediate bolts up. Anotherwords the shaft may need to be off center of the hole in bulkhead a little once the intermediate housing is bolted up. Just because the shft is center of the hole does not me the it will be center of the intermediate housing once in place.
Learned this the hard way.
Thats a great tip! If you already have the midshaft pressed in then you SHOULD be able to see the midshaft centering by looking through the driveshaft tube from the back with a good flashlight but you can also slide the midshaft assembly onto the driveshaft and check the bolt hole alignment
