Riverrat's X-Jet bottom fell apart after 2-3 years of light use. When he got it (which was a story and a half by itself) you could flex the bottom sides with one finger.

Question on your comment. So how many hulls has Riverrat bought since the X-Jet from Waterdawg???

I'm going to be honest the forum operators seem to have a "hard on" for Jeff, Shouldn't they know better then to post negative stuff in the positive section I'm pretty sure they bust peoples balls all the time for stuff like that.
I'm just say'n seems odd..........

The reason is that there is typically a new WDK thread every month or two from someone that hasn't gotten parts, can't get hold of him, etc. It has never stopped, it's always been the case, and they are more of a 'help me get my parts' than a negative feedback thread.

Jeff has proven time and time again that he doesn't care what is said on this site which is fine, and the people normally do get their stuff, eventually. His timelines and communication are horrible, but the products are low cost and decent for what you pay, some are actually really nice. That's just how it is.

Also, most all of these threads stay civil nowadays, so there is no reason to toss them in the moderated neg. feedback forum.

Why did you edit your post and remove the other section?

One could also say, it just seems odd that some people also can't see beyond their rose colored WDK glasses too.....

One word that describes it. "History"

This is nothing new, Darin and I have been dealing with the WDK threads since about 2002/2003. Been There, Seen That.

Also, like you we ride, we have our own opinions. Just because we run this site does not mean we do not have opinions. I voice mine much more than Darin does.

Like Darin posted, these treads now are civil. If you felt like it, do a search on PWCToday for all the locked threads. There are more locked WDK threads than any other single topic threads.

Every once in a while Jeff will make a nice part but it's not worth the weeks of lies and watching fellow riders getting the shaft. Every part that is shipped out is someones paid for part, he ships to the person raising the most stink, Putting others further down the list. The fact that he shows up to the wf with parts for sale to new customers while he owes the same parts to people that have paid for them is criminal. I ride with a friend that has been owed a dry pipe since last years finals and guess what 2 of them are hanging at his booth for sale. I used to run wdk parts, I know longer do because I won't promote a guy that takes advantage of my friends.

People are bashing Jeff because there is a very well established history here, over seven years. And every year someone else comes along, asking everyone to give him a chance to turn things around.
You can imagine that this tune has gotten to be a bit repetitive.

Well said Tom. I am still in the stage of a good hull at the right price is worth waiting for. As frusterated as I am right now I still want his hull made the way he says he is gonna make it, so Im waiting. There are some BS stories and things going on and prolly always will be but I so far have chosen to deal with it. If it helps, Maybe your boy will get his pipe now that he has them I was TOLD they were just finished the day he left for WF. Hope it finally works out for him and me too.
I have had a carbo hull on order for 6.5 months now and it pains me to see this dude bought one at WF outright but I still have hopes that I will have one SOON. What other choice do I have? A $10000 rickter? IMO there isnt anything out there in a carbon hull that I would ride that is priced to be what I consider reasonable.
If Jeff had great promoting skilz and resources and business skilz like RR seems to have his hulls would be $10000 as well. I picked my poison. LOL

Superfreak? Those carbon hulls are quite a bit under 10k.
I only ask because I went through the very same thought process as you. (except that I ruled out WDK)

This one time at waterhead kustomz camp. I sent Jeff a brand new oem crank and cases so he could build me a 1200. I knew the case sticker number, and noticed those cases ended up on Lukes 1200 motor, we ordered at the same time but luke got his a year before mine . He is a piece of work.
