Clean.

No zip-tied fuel lines, though. Curious.

His everyday riding ski and one of his customers' skis' is a totally differt package. He makes allot of changes here and there and is very rough on his personal boat so the fit and finishes does not mirror his production units.

I threw it up on there for you guys so everyone could keep from speculating what was inside the hull. It had crazy power and was the 1000 cc version.

so what is it? and where is the exhaust? I just see what looks little more than a straight tube. does the engine produce so much power that he doesn't need the chamber and the sonic waves and such? Are those rave valves on the cylinders? no water box either?

I just saw on another post some better picks, I can see it is a pipe and no waterbox. it doesn't look the same size in the video. optical illusion or camera distortion I guess. So what is that motor from?

He did start it in the water, and also sank it from sitting on it too long and having the scupper float open. He was explaining a bunch of stuff to us and watching us for too long. Someone towed him in and he had to do the same as the rest of us do, get the water out of the carbs, tank, and cyls.
Yep, no water box, those are raves, and it does have a chamber, but it is up in front of the fuel tank for balance. Not sonic balance, just ski balance. He spends alot of time getting his hulls balanced sitting in the water and has the hull trued. He claimed that it makes a difference for him competing. Kinda makes sense, I guess. I think the old manifold is an old SJ FP type 8? With a custom make manifold adapter, to his cylinder and polaris case. I think. The original video is much clearer, I don't know what I am doing wrong uploading to youtube, it keeps making all my stuff look like grainy crap.

When we towed the ski in, it filled with water. Eric acually sunk it himself, removed all the air and stood on the ski to get it to sink. He said it was a perfect oppurtunity to see if it would float (positive floatation) or sink. Well, it had positive floatation. Eric then pulled the ski out and showed one of the newer guys how to properly rid the ski of water after sinking it.
