I'm goin' for two
- Location
- San Diego, CA
The Oside crew was out in force this Saturday morning, and the energy on the water was unreal.
LBE, Mike Serlin, Ross on his new Round, Myself, Derek Gleeson, and a group of riders from the water world show. I counted 11 skis before we launched. We were met by another 6 or 7 out on the water, including Ray Barre and Fuzzy.
The last time I rode with all these guys at the same time, I wasn't doing rolls or flips, and so this time I got to join in on the fun.
-Ross was throwing down on his new round nose (it's about time). I think once he gets the tubbies on it, his whole routine is going to be that much smoother and polished.
-Mike, finally back from his injury was up to his usual bag of tricks. Some big nosestabs, and a number of BF's. He rounded out the day nicely with a little shark bait from his VERY bloody nose.
-LBE took a step forward with the mx tricks on the standup, and pulled a few Heel Clickers, and worked on getting even more extension on his supermans. Along with the usual BR schenanigans as well.
-I popped the round nose BF cherry. Although the first was severely under rotated, and the 2nd was a fairly scary "suicide bf" that nosed in cleanly. Overall my best accomplishment for the day was sorting out no handed rolls. I still need to polish them, but I rode away clean from several of them on Sat.
DEFINITELY good times. :headbang: (you know, I know the guy that made that headbang smiley). If we can all stay healthy and running, I see some great progression coming up this summer.
Oh, and Randy Laine stopped by the harbor to say hello to everyone. He's up and hobbling around on cruches.
