I guess I never really did a Build for my 96 SJ so here goes. Nothing really out of the ordinary but nice ski nonetheless.

Started with a minty 96 Superjet that was absolutely pampered in a previous life. It came with a Riva Red pipe, CDI, intake, Groovy Ride Plate, F/A's and a Skat 13/18 Impellor.

First to go was the stock decals, Hood, Handpole and anything purple. I added Dual Bilge Pumps, Primer, a -2" AC handpole, Blowsion Lowered Bracket, Hood straps, Limiting Rope, X-Metal steering with ODI's and a straight bar, WDK Chinpad, Tubbies and a Diablo Hood and nosepiece.

Just in time for Daytona last year i had a decal package made up by N2Graphics to represent my Canadian roots and my new South Carolina residence.

I also ditched the Riva Red pipe and replaced it with a Brand new Factory B-pipe and a TBM Charging Flywheel.

Once I started building my 07 SJ this ski became the g/f's ski and I promised I wouldn't mod anything unless it was something she asked for. Luckily she loved to ride my ski and I got full permission to make hers the same as mine.

So this is what she got after it became the g/f's ski;

The TBM flywheel was swapped out with a RAD, (TBM went on my 760, ;)),
Limited chamber replaced with a Carbon Mod Chamber then swapped back to Limited,
The Riva intake and plate were swapped for a Worx 201 and stock D-cut,
Skat impellor replaced with a 9/15 Hooker by Impros,
Pole was replaced with an RRP,
Chinpad was upgraded to a Wamiltons,
Riva CDI was replaced with an MSD Enhancer,
Coil and Stator was sent to JSS,
Riva F/A's replaced with Proks w/ Outwears,
OEM 38's sent to JSS for his Taperbore Mod and rejet,
Added Greater Girdled head with 35cc domes for 185psi,
X-metal steering was replaced with Wamiltons setup with UMI Sealed Bearings,
Sharkfab Throttle modified for small hands,
Kawi SXI Throttle cable,
SN Fire extinguisher in the tray,
WW Stubby pump cone,
Deka ETX-9 mini AGM Battery...
Custom Battery tray built to fit small Deka Battery
Blowsion Billet Fuel Cap.

I now have a Fresh Freestyle Ported 760 topend on the shelf that will be going in as soon as the cases come back from Team Scream from getting ported. Once things slow down she's finally going to get footholds and turf too.

Thats one nice and clean ski!
But dosent it need some footholds?

That's the one problem with riding year round, no downtime to get such things done. Plus I hate glasswork and the g/f doesn't use them anyway so there's no real push for them.

Here's some good pics taken this weekend by a friend with an awesome camera!!

:sadwavey: I just finished my build sheet for the new ski and inventoried all the donor parts coming from this ski. It's going to be a shame to see it parted out but all things are fair in Love and Jetskis. :sadwavey:

Onward and upward.:bananapowerslide:

This ski will not be being parted until well after Daytona so no please offers to buy parts or dibs on anything unless I post them up for sale. The only thing I hate more than Crows picking at the carcass is the buzzards flying circles overhead when it's still alive.

Funny you say that, but I would love to!

I love the build but I would go broke doing a new build for myself every year.
