Got my front sponsons installed this weekend and the RRP pole bracket. Getting prepped for the big assembly next weekend.

It's going to be so hard to take pics as I go, I'm gonna want to just keep going.

Some progress at the end of day 1...I actually did a whole lot more but I just didn't get pics. I need to steal back the TBM and mod chamber out of my other ski and this engine is ready to drop in and plumb. All electrical and exhaust work is done, just needs fuel and cooling lines.

-Installed RRP pole with Blowsion spring (that was fun, and the reason for the one deformed breath tube),
Assembled complete engine inc. starter, intake, carbs, stator, couplers and exhaust manifold (minus tbm flywheel and bendix).
Installed fuel filler neck and tube, bilge outlets, bypass outlets, bow eyes, motor mounts, Keeney Keepers, Waterbox, exhaust tube, Dual bilge pumps, rotary switch and cover, hood straps, Mid shaft and housing, SN Extinguisher holder, Enhancer, E-box, Impeller into housing, assembled and aligned pump, wired bilge pumps and charged the new battery.

I would have gotten more done but I spent 2 hrs running around town looking for stainless, metric hardware that I was short and of course suffered setbacks on just about every other step of the way. Other than the steering that didn't make delivery on friday, I will have this ski finished tomorrow afternoon.

Boyer...gonna be a sick ass, clean ski. I'm diggin' the stealth factory look. I can't agree more about ski's being blacked out. I want see this ski first person when it's done. U gonna have some freetime to hit Macon this summer? I'm a surf virgin so you'll have to be gentle if I make it up your way in summer.

I had a few holdups so it's not 100% but it's pretty damn close. Still needs a steering system and I need to figure out what's binding the pump and install the fitting for dual cooling.

I also need to figure out a starting point for jetting. I'm running Taper bore 38's on a stock intake with Prok F/A's.

I'm still looking for the on/off switch for the "neon" orange fuel line. I ordered yellow today so hopefully that tames it down and blends with the ski better. Anybody want any orange primer and fuel line?

Looks great except for all that orange crap that matches nothing on the ski! Did Gil's mexican theme rub off on you or something????

I don't even remember ordering the orange. I don't like it either and will be ordering a different color today. Thinking yellow might look okay, if it's available.

This weekend I got my new carbs set up and installed finally. I swapped out the orange fuel lines for yellow, pulled the engine to trim the bedplate for more pipe chamber clearance and spent a little more time on engine shimming. I also finished up a few other loose ends like primer knob and battery connect for the bilge pumps.
