Impeller removal tool!

Here is a little device I put together today. Its always a pain in the ass trying to hold the pump and 2 wrenches in the vice or on the ground , so being that I have NEVER been without a reciever type hitch I assembled this today . 1 piece of scrap tubing'' thick walled'' and my driveshaft socket welded in the end ,then slide it in the reciever ,slide your pump shaft in the new tool . Attach wrench and an extention of any length up to mabe 10 ft if needed and ''poof'' something is gonna give ! I took off two tuff impellers in less than a minute . The nice thing is you dont have to hold it and you only need one wrench ! fits all yammie models ! pattent pending ! JK . hope it helps someone else

That's awesome for on-the-road pump disassemblies, I like it.

For home use, I've been using a vise to hold the shaft tool + shaft, then a BFW plus extender.

Here are the pics again since they disapeared when we got ''hacked'' Btw : the only Instructions with this tool is when you slide it in the reciever make sure the ''spline tool'' is on the bottom of the tube that way the drive shaft lays on the bottom of the tube when you apply mega torque ! have fun
