I'm Getting SOOOOo close to the blaster flip.

I finally got back on the ski a bit this last weekend.....and believe it or not so did Ross Champion. We had great weather, and decent surf. I got a chance to work on some new things on the blaster that will be real exciting.

I also had a chance to go for another shot at the flip. Unfortunately, most of the day we just didnt' have the surf for it. Shortly before heading in, I was goofing off on the small stuff inside when I heard ross and derek yelling. I turned around and a rogue, big wave was rolling in. I wasn't exactly mentally prepared to flip, but, oh well.

I got so much rotation off the lip, I kind of gave up on pulling. That was sort of dumb, because I'm about 30 degrees off a solid flip. SOoooon.

I was also working on some roll variations this weekend as well. I didn't get any good shots of the no handed rolls, but I'm looking at possibly some sort of one foot seat grab barrel roll. I was working on the one foot rolls, but was having a slight issue with letting my body drift out to the side too far.
