MEX RAGER XI OCT. 13th - 15th
Im sorry guys but I'm canceling my attempt at trying to get the Mex Rager going again strong.. as of now I can't see very many people showing up at all with the Joe Kenny event being just a week after..
I still will be in Mexico for the Rager anyway...
I have big plans for an event next spring in Calif. (If I don't run into another conflict with people thinking of a last minute event.)
I will try and team up with a few guys to get idea's from everyone (yes, even peon riders like myself) and try to make an event for the riders, by the riders, just like this site and we will let everyone know what's up as it evolves.. (date picking, challanges, dinners, etc.) there will be plenty of notice and NO SECRETS.. I'm hoping this will be the event all are promised to be..
I will be happy to get anyone who wants to help on the team..
I will need help from pro riders and fun riders from back east, north, south, west and everywhere in between..
Thanks... Butch

http://www.ifwa.com.br/
Looks like we will have our local talent and some international riders heading to Mexico too !
These look to be the final dates and I would like to let you know that there is a free / play ride in Mexico called the Mex Rager.. IT IS NOT A Sanctioned COMPETITION ! It is a time to make new friends, ride in the surf, enjoy the end of the season..
There wont any be points or entry fee's but there will be a purse of $1000.00 'USD' for...
1. $400.00 to anyone completing a double back flip (riders pick of closest completion)
2. $300.00 to the best double barrel roll (riders pick)
3. $200.00 best new trick/farthest/highest jump (riders pick)
4. $100.00 neatest injury of the weekend or longest road trip to get there ?
THE 'Mex Rager' it has been taking place in Mexico after the World Finals in Havasu for 11 years now..
There is camping on the beach (not many "if any" hotels, motels or dives close by) plenty of parking. Bring a tote or a good 4 wheel drive to launch, toilet paper (no bathrooms only a tree!) Quads to rent in the dunes 1/2 mile north, shops to shop in a few miles north..
Mex Rager is located at Cantamar beach (about 40 miles into Mexico)
Bring plenty of water & liquor & food & liquor & firewood &
liquor & beer. This campsite is VERY primitive – there are NO
showers or facilities for miles. Make sure you bring your
registration for ALL vehicles – cash for dinner Sat nite , toll
roads, camping fee (varies per year – usually $30 - $60 for the weekend) & to bail your drunk friends outta jail….or talk your way out of it!!
Might be a good idea to hook up with others and travel as a group to avoid the po po going in and out of Mexico..
DIRECTIONS:
From US Hwy 5 South cross to Tijuana –
Take Rosarito-Ensenada toll road (cuota) –
PASS Rosarito Beach cross toll gates and exit at Cantamar.
Turn LEFT (south) continue past sand dunes & and just
over bridge (lagoon) take 1st driveway to Cantamar Beach.
Pay toll at house. (Someone usually puts up a banner/sign)
You will pay 2 tolls & are about an hour past the border.
The purse money will be sent to a fund set up by www.X-H2o.com
If you need more information CHECK IT OUT www.X-h2o.com in the forum sections..
Much more info to follow..
Thanks again Butch Musick
