Well, if I read/understood correctly, since the fuel and air enters the crank and lower cylinder, the piston's down stroke creates the fuel/air compression (I didn't know this), and since it's pressurized and the exhaust is not, the positive pressure of the fuel/air will enter the chamber and not the neutral pressured exhaust.

Now that I understand how the reed and compression work, it makes sense.

That little bit of slap down from X2-Rags was definitely worth the knowlegde. lol

:spankme:It's ALIVE!!! :spankme:

Sounds pretty good too (considering my carbs were FULL of water and there is a ton of water in the fuel)! That starter from Marshmallow was burnt up. There was something wrong with it from the beginning, never had any cranking power.

Just got done taking my carbs apart and completely cleaning them out. Next, I have to finish draining the fuel tank and blowing out all the fuel lines.

I'm out of town ALL weekend for a stupid wedding in Phily, but I hope to get it in the water tomorrow for a test run....:drive: (after running it on the hose for about 15 minutes with some fresh fuel). My dad's lawnmower will eat the old fuel.

My ski is basically unsinkable! 1100gph bilge and dual thick rachet straps. but.....

I died out on the lake...floated for about 15 minutes in 1-2 footers...waves went in the bilge hole. Bilge did not come on. Eventually the bilge hole was under water, (then it went down quick)

I had my bilge hooked up through the electrical box (looked more sano than on the battery)...The main ground came loose killing the ski and the bilge. It is going right back on the battery.
