I just blew $800 on my SJ, I think my lady friend may kill me, LOL So how long are you guy's ( or gals, some of you seem pretty hardcore) in the dog house for a purchase like that?

She's a great girl and doesn't give me much greif about toy's but i'm not so sure on this one.. hahaha!

I put 500 in my SJ this past winter and the lady couldnt say a thing. My $$ is mine and hers is hers. Thats the way she wants it,,,so be it.

My GF wasn't super happy when I started throwing parts at mine, then I bought her one she got over it. I just sold "hers" last week, Ill be lucky to spend that money on mine.

HAHA! She'll be fine. Like I said, everytime my lady gives me troubles I point out the fact that she wears $100 trackpants... Works everytime.

I just dropped $1,100 into mine, but then again my wife just spent $3,000 on a dressage saddle. By my reckoning I still have a budget of $1,900....

BTW, the saddle looks just like all her other saddles....

haha, when I picked up my sj, I simply told my wife that I'd be away for the weekend because I was going to pick up my new ski. I was expecting the worst and she kinda just shrugged it off. nice.

One of my work contracts got reduced quite a bit last week and I went out and bought a new set of race tires this week anyway. She went into the garage to see a spanking new stack of tires and didn't say a word. Oh and I need another set soon too.

Me likey, of course I don't usually blow money so maybe that helps.

True, but girls that don't like the bike or the ski get the boot. If they are into it then everything is fine. If I want to spend money on something of mine then I'm going to do it. I don't see how you guys have to ask permission and worry that she's going to get mad that you spent your money. Quit letting the girls have the upper hand.

I can understand that if you are married and there are other things that you were supposed to use the money for but you spent it on toys instead. But then you shouldn't have gotten married if you still want do these activities and invest in it.

haha.. everytime the wifey complains ( ie when i bought the SJ this year)

i remind her how much i spent on that diamond shes wearing..and how much we could get if we sold it.. lol

now im putting sublimal thoughts in her head on how the
SJ would look cool, if i got it repainted this year and asked her opinion to get her interested..

I thought this would be fun, I'm not actually worried about it but I have spent over a grand on my snowmobile sine the season ended. We also have a new house to pay for at the end of Oct.

And I agree it is hard to have sex with a Superjet, however you can ride her anytime you want and in any position you can think of!

I don't think anyone is actually afraid of getting in sh*t from their wife for buying toys, but its the whole beechness, arguing, complaining, etc. Thats not worth the headaches. I usually don't say anything until she catches me installing it or receiving delivery (I ship everything to my work, she works with me).

I just buy her something if she won't shut up. No big deal.
