Hallelujah. Bitchy girls get the boot. I dumped three girls because they got pissed when I went riding or skiing. See ya suckers. There are plenty of fish in the sea. My current girlfriend likes to hang on the beach and doesn't care what I do. :fing02:

True, but girls that don't like the bike or the ski get the boot. If they are into it then everything is fine. If I want to spend money on something of mine then I'm going to do it. I don't see how you guys have to ask permission and worry that she's going to get mad that you spent your money. Quit letting the girls have the upper hand.

I can understand that if you are married and there are other things that you were supposed to use the money for but you spent it on toys instead. But then you shouldn't have gotten married if you still want do these activities and invest in it.

WOW i have yet to be asked if he could buy a new ski or parts or trips to Mexico, Pismo to ride. Even though at times i might get a little upset but i go along with it. That makes for a happy house LOL... Besides soccer is here and i dont ask. Asking is for kids with the parents not couples LOL....

They will always have the upper hand...its hard (well harder) to have sex with your ski.

Because you let them take the upper hand. My girlfriends know that I'll be doing what I need to do. And sometimes it doesn't include them.

And I don't need a girlfriend to have sex. That's what bootycalls are for.

I dumped my last girlfriend because I got tired of having to run stuff by her. I want to do my own things and hang out with whatever girls I want.

If you can find a girl that supports what you do then that's great. I know of some girls that help out in everything their husband does and enjoy it.

Why the hell should I be paranoid about doing something that I want to do? Oh no, I don't want to hear my wife/gf bitch at me because I bought this new part. WHY ARE YOU WITH HER?

Here's a quote that I like: "Don't let yourself get attached to anything you are not willing to walk out on in 30 seconds flat if you feel the heat around the corner." But I'm a bit apathetic as well.

How much better would your life be if you could run in the house yelling "Honey! Check out my new exhaust. I finally got it." and she was actually excited. Or you get home and she tells you that your new part arrived and now you guys need to install it and get out on the water.

If it's not like that you can bet your ass I'm out of there. There's no need for extra unnecessary stress in your life. It's all downhill after that.

Girls like that are hard to come by. Unless I'm drinking away the rent, they should let me have my fun. A girl is going to be a positive influence or no influence at all. I'm single, and I know it's going to stay that way for a while. I'm cool with that. I wish it was different, but the cost is greater than the reward. Someday, ready to wait.

Noone has any right to say anything to me. I may go out and have fun 3-6 days a week, but at the same time, the health benefits are great. My friends are 50 pounds over weight and so are their girlfriends. I guess that's ok... they just watch the boob tube, while her's get bigger and he grows his own.

My fiance will fake excitement. It's cool cause her heart is in the right place. As far as getting bitched at, unless I went completely overboard, she really would never care what I bought because it keeps me busy. Although she has asked me when I'm going to be "done" with my ski. I said, "done? Haha, what's that?"

See, that's not too bad. She likes to see you happy but she just doesn't understand it.

Give and take....

I got a new ski, she got the new landscaping she designed for the house.
The landscaping actually cost more, so when I go buy new parts, I have
some credits built up. :fing02:

I've been married 7 years, and I had the skis 10, so she married into
it knowing the importance and has not given me any complaints.

All she asks is equal treatment.

I just dont let my wife know how much anything costs. If I was getting a new b pipe, she would think it was like 70 bucks. You get the idea....

Cash, paperless trails are the best :smokin:

quote:HAHA! She'll be fine. Like I said, everytime my lady gives me troubles I point out the fact that she wears $100 trackpants... Works everytime.

If L kills you can I have your sled?

I just think it sucks that you guys have to worry or lie about this kind of stuff. I broke up with my last girlfriend because I want to do what I want without having to run it by someone else..

I just blew $800 on my SJ, I think my lady friend may kill me, LOL So how long are you guy's ( or gals, some of you seem pretty hardcore) in the dog house for a purchase like that?

She's a great girl and doesn't give me much greif about toy's but i'm not so sure on this one.. hahaha!

Wish me luck!

Lates

so what did you blow the $800 on??

the last couple of years my wife hasn't been to thrilled sitting on shore, so this past winter I built her a couch to ride, to ease her into things. Now she is dragging me out of bed on weekends to ride. I ride the SJ she rides the couch, pretty good deal so far.

Today she tried the SJ for the first time and she did awesome, she still prefers the couch but with a little more seat time and I am sure she'll come around.

She doesn't mind me spending a few bucks on the ski, she just wants to know that I am being reasonable and not putting the ski first ahead of things like, kids, home, food, etc...you get the point.

Guiness92 is with the program, Go the 10% rule.

Most girls don't know how much ski stuff costs so most of the time you can say what you want.

The amount of coin they spend on baubles and clothes is often their darkest secret. They actually like it when you spend a tad on the ski as it justifies their spending $499 on a pair of ******en shoes, that were 50% off, what a bargain!

"Honey, check out my new 48 novi's! best $125.00 I ever spent!"

"thats nice honey" as she rips up the reciept for her $1100.00 handbag, feeling superior all the while.
