I keep pulling backflips! not on purpose

So you i went out a couple times lately but everytime im hitting a wave and just trying to do a jump my jet ski leans to far back and starts going for like a back flip and
im not trying to pull one and acouple times i have to ditch the ski and it lands up side down
i ride and octane
any advicse?
 
Maybe thats it maybe i just need to lean foward more and buy a helment for when it lands on me


and haha that sucksss
its like high 80s her and the water is is low 80s

if the wave is that steep or already breaking put the pole down lower (towards the hood) and lean over it way forward, chin pad almost to the gut. *shrug* or at least thats what i do

exactly!!!! legs should be straight (very slight bend) and the pole should be low w/ your arms extended as low as possible and just lean into it appropriately... I always imagined how the ski jumpers who jump long distances adjust to the slope. You will feel it when it's right....

I see this a common problem w/ new riders... the jump and sitdown in the air losing all control and pulling the ski back.. We call the it "the pooper" jump

exactly!!!! legs should be straight (very slight bend) and the pole should be low w/ your arms extended as low as possible and just lean into it appropriately... I always imagined how the ski jumpers who jump long distances adjust to the slope. You will feel it when it's right....
