Dudes, I'm done, winterizing it this weekend.:17: Yesterdays temperature was a big tease but you know the bad weather is right around the corner. :grumble: I hate Michigan winters for alot of reasons. Oh well, I'm switched over my brian to some indoor sports, racquetball, inline hockey and the fitness club. :frown:

I have bought from Thunderwear before, sent the wrong size, then sent me the right ones and said just keep the first set. They have other styles, but I wanted to try these this time.

Nice pics Ross .It's amazing how far you have come in this sport in such a short time .It seems like yesterday I witnessed you do your first backy at Daytona on your FX1 .Congrats .

Ross ,I run a pisser line to my bars for the hands and I have a valve inline to adjust the flow for cold/warmer.I also disconnect 1 of my 3 pissers so more flow goes to the bars .You can also have the line to the bars have the straight part of the T and it gets more flow but you will have to restrict in real cold water to get it warm .

All you guys crying about the cold are wussies .It's not cold until there is ice in the OCEAN

I rode every month last season except Feb. This year I want to break that.

4/3, w/hood, booties, and gloves is good till water is below 50ish. Below 50, to be comfortable... is really drysuits only, although I have used a 5/4/3 in low 40F water. 5mm+ wetsuits just tire you out too much.

how cold of water did you get into with the 543?

thats what i got for this winter but i havn't tried it out yet.

If you were surfing a 5/4/3 will keep you good throughout the whole season. I have gone surfing in 37degress water in my 5/4/3. Jetsking you are not submerged long eough, and you get too much wind that it dryes out the suit too fast for my taste. A dry wetsuit is not a warm wetsuit. Also when you eat it hard with a wetsuit and flush it full of 40F water, you see stars...LOL

Nick mid 40's WTF...I didn't even bring a wetsuit! I will see you guys around 11 on Sat...early AM is out haha

And for sure I will not be missing the biggest event of the year, and there are a ton of West coast guys headed for the Daytona Freeride this year.

As far as Canda goes I will be headed here http://www.bigpacific.com/whattodo/viewtides.html to ride this standing wave for Rick Pierce who is shooting for his new video (Coastal Rage 2?) which should be out before christmas. And I can't imagine how cold it will be up there...I honestly don't know how you guys do it. I just ordered a 4/3 from JetPilot cause that is the thickest they have...but this Floridian/So Cal transplant has never owned more than a 3/2. I will run some warmers up the handle pole, but I guess I should restrict the cooling as well huh?

Do you cold water guys restrict the cooling when it gets cold, or does it not make that much difference.

Aww crap I'm gonna freeze...but it will be fun!

Gettin on the plane now for FL...talk to you guys later

Make sure you post pics of that canada ride! It looks awesome

Art...I love those pics!

Guys thanks for all the idea for he cold. I will be picking up some more rubber on the way North, and sorting out the pissers.

Crab, are your guys riding near a power plant? How do you get 70-90 degree water?

And by the way, I am in FL now on my Dad's back patio. About 78 degrees not a cloud in the sky...Winter in FL is nice!
