Custom/Hybrid Hydroturf ???

Called hydro turf to get my turf for my new build on my Footrocket. The guy was real nice then told me I need to hang up and go to there website to order.

Silly you answer the phone but you cannot take my order or credit card info to make purchase.

I told him I had not orderded in awhile and this is kinda lame to me. I know what I want just take my order, Some of us still like to talk to humans when dealing with money or important orders.

So is it that a company has got out of touch when it is easier to deal with a distributer than the manufacturer. Customer service ???

So the 15 percent is to make you feel better that they took two weeks and shipped you the wrong stuff.

Black smooth 1/4 inch turf

26 mil black plush padding not the grey 25mil that gets squished and has memory.

Maybe 8 mil pad and some contact cement..............No brain surgery here.

Already have a sheet of black diamond and can get gator grip direct if I want to.

yea i feel ya ,things getting real impersonal these days .sometimes its alright ,but there are times i like to talk to someone in person to get the feel of situations.on another note i tried some of their pre glued smooth black turf that i actually purchased for a job i did ( acoustical room for the college,got to be creative)and ended up with some left over spill that i have been using on my skis,and the stuff sticks pretty damn good ! i used some in the engine bay for rub spots (pipe /waterbox)and thought for sure it would come off, so far every piece hanging tough,no prep either .

i m fortunate enough to live 15min away so i just order online and put will call pick up in the comment box. both orders last week i called and talked to corey and he was able to get my stuff ready the next day.

on another note, the black plush padding is nicer but doesent sand easy like the grey does.

Yup, I called um too. Same deal..., hang up and order online. Didn't quite like it also. Ordered a couple decals too. Got um wrong. I was like..., Hmmmm, whatever. :squint:

The idea with ordering over the internet is to what remove the human mistake situation. Humans maintain the website and still get it wrong.

UPDATE.................. I was on FB yesterday and sent a message to Hydroturf on there and this morning I got a message back from Mike. He was very cool I sent him my cell # and we spoke about 20 minutes, great guy, great products, and he hooked me up.

This is the part for me that makes the differance. I did not know about the plush 26mil or the plush 9mil. I was just gonna order the grey 25mil and the grey 8 mil. Instead I got inside info and the newest goods.

After apeaking to him and placing the order I made it clear to him how Stoked we are that they are still here and continually supporting and sponsoring freerides and competitions everywhere.

Go Hydroturf keepin the dream alive.

Mike is the guy I have always dealt with too....don't know if the same Mike though... nice guy and always gives the discount.

Good to hear...I need a new roll soon.
