Looks like he 5200ed it. Definitely original! This may not be the point of the thread, but couldn't you grind down the flange and attach a scupper valve?

OIC - that's just to close it off? I was thinking that squeezing a ball in there would actually make a good one way valve if you could figure out a way to actually make the water flow in one direction....

I would have put a scupper over the back matt, but the FX1 does not have a flat rear there like a SJ does. It is at an angle...

Tomorrow will be the last ride on the FX untill the SJ is done...

I've broken a lot of **** this week and it is way past time to finish the SJ...

cool, but it still is kind a cool to flip a fx.

did you get new paint on your sj hull?? Let us see some pics.

I would love to have a paintjob from Daylite, I never saw better work then he does.

Still holding...last ride on the FX was a good one! Better things to come soon. And at this point sorry to say there will be no insase Daylite paint on this hull. But possibly some time in the future...we will see. That would be sick..

If you run a flush mount valve just throw on a flapper type scupper on top of it.

In theory that is a good idea, but like I said the rear of the FX is not flat like it is on a SJ, so that does not work. But thanks for lookin out.
