I cannot tell you how much fun the baja is.......just get ready to sell all your nitro ********...

1 tank of gas = 50 minutes runtime :woot:

Yeah but my nitro doesnt cost a grand ither:bigeyes:

I'm a huge fan of the baja.....but yet I'm not.....I'm stuck in the 1/10tha nd 1/8th nitro section. It's where RC cars are real RC cars to me. The Baja is a close to being a real car, lol.

I like it....but i dont.....Would I buy one if I had the cash to throw around? You bet your ass....I'd beat it like a red headed step child all over some jumps:Banane01:

BB is the way to go! Put a stuffed +2mm stroked crank and it will really scream. Make your you upgrade to a bigger carb and you'll REALLY see a diffrence.

Heres my current goped motor. It rips hard mid rev with a .710 spindle and can easily push me 25mph. I'd love to see it on a Baja

I'm running a W668 carb and it compliments it well

I was gonna go brushless and lipo at one time but theres just no sense. You can buy used setups(brushless RTR) like that cheaper the the cost of a new brushless setup alone. Not counting the lipos and the Rx, and the servo for the new Rx since the stock Mini T servo wont work. Plus it just breaks tons and tons of parts. Not interested. My Raider is enough for my indoor and mild ooutdoor bashing

electric is where its at for R/C cars, nitro for the big planes. But more specifically, I never was into the regular planes either. I got a trainer, learned how to fly and then built a couple of sport plane from scratch (using coroplast... durable as hell!) one of which is a combat plane (you try and be the last one flying) that is built using a PVC gutterpipe fuse and coroplast feathers and wings that top speeds at about 85 mph.

The 3D which I fly more often goes about 15-20 mph but I usually fly at like 5-10. I liken it couches vs SJ's.

Here's the plane I fly:

Complete brushless setup, LiPo and a $100 TOTAL cost for servos, etc. It has a 2:1 thrust ratio with the prop I use, which means it has UNLIMITED vertical climb.
