hood seal ?

figured dap would work well but I did not want I ruin my 125 dollar hood seal thank for the info

superglue

or rc tire glue , should be same as superglue ,

I have seen lots of hood seals come loose glued with contact cement

shoe goo duhh.........

so... how Manny bottles of super glue do you use it would take a lot of that glue to seal all the voids in the "trough"
just as a side note next time you need to make a quick fix use super glue and backing soda, spread the glue liberally then throw some backing soda on the glue you will be amazed at how Strong the glue becomes and it dries within seconds of applying the soda no matter how much glue there is have fun with that one.

i have a carbon blowsion hood that i am repairing/painting for a friend it looks like some sort of epoxy was used to glue the seal in but it feels somewhat softer then epoxy kind of like shoe goo AHH SNAP THATS IT SHOE GOO!!! no shiet that just came to me that stuff will work awesome anyone ever use it for this application?

lol no you just put a small bead on the inside of the "trough"
