Wow that was sick! I'm wondering how they get into that sport, how do they practice? At minimum, he has to be going through a set of tires on every run and I'm stressing about the $25 in gas it cost me every time I ride my ski.

you start with a mid sized engine (150 hp tops and low weight) FWD car, and move on... some start with 4WD turbos but that's over kill, just like first ski with a stroker motor :) Skill = time doing it consistently imho and driving for show is not driving against time..

IMO you give any capable driver in one of those cars in a controlled setting like that and a little seat time they'd be able to knock half of those "stunts" out in as many takes.

Dude can still drive but he's not the cream of the crop like others have pointed out. He just has the connections and backing to make it look so to most that aren't familiar to competitive driving or whatever you call that.

And before I get flamed notice I said capable drivers, so that rules out 99% of our peers that have a license to drive.

He may not be doing well in the WRC, but he's still one of the best American rally drivers out there

If you say so... I will admit I don't watch or follow WRC and don't see myself anytiime in the future.

Maybe it's me but I just don't believe in the cliche that because someone is doing something at the "Pro" level that they are automatically better than anyone/everyone else in certain sports like this. Example being I don't think the 50 or so NASCAR drivers are the BEST at driving a car around in a circle. Many are just GOOD (you can add very to that if you want to argue) and have the connections, etc. to be there. But given someone else's cars, no accountability, and a little prep there are plenty of Joe Schmoes that could do the same or better.

Not trying to be a Hater, just open-minded on some stuff IMO.

hate away haters , I thought it was a great video , from editing ,to shooting the video to the driving. I wish I could drive half as good , and I guarantee you haters wish the same . respectfully speaking of course
