its the same idea. do a set up wake, come at it sideways so you have more steering time in the direction you want to spin, pull your chest towards the bars and lead with your head.

Evan,

Notice he does his setup wake the OPPOSITE way on the Helicopter / flat spin (fast forward to about 1:40).

thats not it.

the flatwater heli is what the jap dude did who won...NOONE did it like he did

and these pros need to do something else off the double up wake.....a "HUGE" backflip is just another day to a coastal surfreerider.....lets see some triple combos and REAL flip variations

Ivan was doing the best 360s even did a look back 360 if that makes sense.

Considering the boat drivers Frekin blew it on the v wakes... We could have seen a double flip but o well. Maybe even a 720!

I know there would have been some double backys if the boat drivers knew what they were doing. I didn't even jump the V-wake during pro comp because it looked like a cluster. One boat was too fast and too far forward, and they were way to far apart.

ive managed to pull a few sweet flat 360s on the XFS, youve gotta get a nice wake setup and hit it just like a nose stab but always look behind you whichever way your turning. I do mine to the left, so as soon as i leave the wake i just throw my head over my left shoulder and my body position is correct then, thats when the ski follows with it.

basically, which ever way you wanna go, just look that way.
