So, over the years I've been saving up all the best Blaster parts I could find for this build I'm doing (that will be finished when I'm 50...but I digress).
Well, about 2 years ago, I find an absolutely perfect WHITE fuel tank. So I buy it, totally clean it out, and cover all the openings with brown paper, tape them all up, then wrap the entire tank in shrink wrap and put it up on the shelf.
Today, I pull the tank off of the shelf, unwrap it, and HALF OF IT IS COMPLETELY YELLOW!!!!
I have no idea why, but my advise to anyone trying to keep a white tank white is to not seal off all of the openings, no matter how clean the inside of the tank is. That's the only thing I can think of as to why this happened.
And worse yet, I recently sold another perfectly white tank that I stripped out of a parts ski BECAUSE I DIDN'T THINK I'D NEED IT, since I already had one.:chairshot:
