Help a brotha out?

Hey not sure how crazy big your gonna be going, but in the mx world... broken collar bones come from the helmet smashing your collar bone. You can get inexspensive neck rolls,EVS,661 and others have them. The LeAtt (sp?) braces are the new thing to prevent hyper extension of the neck which is where you get into serious trouble, but they are pricey 300ish.

I where shin pads, and of course ankle braces(my ankles are shot). Some days I have to roll out with a wrist guard or two(my wrists are gone too).

Mad props to you for steeping the game up,be safe and FILM THAT CHIT!!!

Thanks for the advice guys...lots of good ideas.

I don't plan on wearing the gear all the time, because I truly belive in being able to swim and move in big surf. But with that in mind, I am willing to give up mobility and boyance for some shock protection while learning. I'm gonna look in to a lot of this stuff.

Probably won't be filming much for a while...just trying to learn some new stuff for the tour this year.

Hey Art, I am not so sure of hockey helmet idea...does not relly seem like you get much protection from those helmets.

Thanks again...

Thanks for the info on the hockey helmet. I will update you guys once I get some of this stuff.

Idok...Jeremy Phillips uses the mouth guard, and I like the idea of that. Would of probably helped me the time I broke the mouth piece off my bell helmet and my tooth went throught my lip.

Will let you all know what I end up with and how it works.

Thanks again

Check out what 661 has to offer they have the hip pads and things like that in their snow line, and a lot stuff in the mtn bike line. They also have knee/shin guards cuz ya dont wanna hit the ski wth the front or side of your knee. I think we all know that feeling of htting your funny knee or whatever you wanna call it.
