GoPro questions

NVJAY775

My home away from home.
Looking into getting a gopro hd and have some questions for you guys.

Not sure what one to get, or where to get it from. Cost etc...

I will use it for jet ski stuff, my truck and whatever else sounds like fun. Maybe porn I don't know yet. lol...

Is the lens in the case? So maybe later the case / lens can be changed from wide to reg? I'd like to be able to switch lenses if possible.

What cards do you guys like?

And anything else I forgot to ask.

Thanks everybody!

Jay

Go Pro's do not have interchangable lens's. The HD only comes in wide or fish eye. I believe it does have a setting to make it a little less fish eye though.

Yes it does have a setting to make it less "Fishy".....
Get the Helmet Hero package, is the one with the most attachments for what we use it.

But it's always fun trying to come up with ways to attach it to our skis.

Make sure you get the Higher class you can get, class 10 if possible. In order to record HD footage you need a high transfer rate card. This is NOT the same as the size of the Card which is measure in Gigabytes.....

You only need class 4 or higher for the HD Gopro. In fact, class 4 is what gopro sells on their website (at ridiculous prices). I am using a 8gig class 6 with no problems. And also, 16 gig is enough capacity to record full quality for a whole battery charge.
