If your gonna talk ******** about Rob how about back it up with a legit story, not just go and tell everyone hes some bad guy, Ive known him for a while and can tell you hes a pretty decent guy, real honest and genuine, but thats in my opinion also. We rode together a few times, he used my ski when his was down and through one of those jumps out in the Lake superior surf, pretty impressive, just the fact of practically diving onto those nose is nuts and then go under and get back into the tray. Hes on the boards btw selling some things right now. And imo hes pretty much rules double wakes I think he was one of the first to do them.

A new set of pistons just came to me last week from him via a pwctoday deal. I had no idea who he was. Oops! I had my fingers crossed as always on a puchase like that. But it went fine..talked to him on the phone a couple of times...seemed like a nice guy. Got what I paid for.

How many stories do you want. I dont want this post to go in a negative direction but you asked so I will tell you. These are from 3 to 4 years ago. I'm not going to go into long drawn out storys because I type slow .

He sold me a protec girdled head. He said was extra from one of his sponsors. Asked during several emails and phone converstaions what size domes they had to make sure they were for a 701cc motor. Well I got it with 760 domes. I also bought a used coil from him at the same time once again he assured me it was almost new and just pulled out of one of his competion boats. The plug wires were cut so many times they were to short to even reach the plugs. When I called him on it he changed the story and said parts were his freinds and he sold them for him and he would get in touch with his freind. Then he said he would send back some money . Never did, then he said his friend was in jail. One story after another.

My friend h20style who does not ride anymore bought a stock cdi from him and asked him several times that it was a stamped 62t cdi not a 61x and he assured him it was. Well guess what he got a 61x cdi. I know they are interchangeable but thats not the point.

Now ask the former owner of a well known shop how much money he is owed by Rob for a boat that he built for him and let him have before he got paid. Then the boat disappeared and the money or boat was never seen again. This was told to me first hand by this owner on the phone.

Once again these stories are quite old but screw me and I never forget. I am now done and will not get into a he said she said posting war. This is my side of the story. Believe whatever you like.
