you can build a pvc two place rack that will fit over the tires..only put it in when you take the ski's somewhere, take it out when you're done.

Tudra's get horrible fuel economy. It will probably also be very hard to find a four door for anywhere near 10k without 150 thousand miles.

My paps get about 16mpg with his 4.0L v6 4-runner.... expect less then that with the v6 in a Tundra, and about 12-13 around town with the 4.7v8.

I think the Cheavy 1500's get the best fuel economy. ... not sure about bed size.

I wouldnt by a Dodge unless it had a Cummins.

The Fords are ok, not sure on fuel or bed size though.

wow, i'm surprised the toyota trucks get that bad of fuel economy. I get 13-15 mpg out of my '01 dodge ram 4X4 Off-road with 33x12.5x17 tires on it. And it's got a 5.8L V8 (360ci) motor with 410 possi traction rear end.

you guys are lucky the truck me and my brother use only gets 7mpg its a 06 tundra with a 14in lift with 20s with 38s!!

to go that big you need a good motor that little toyo motor is crying for hp. with a biggger motor the mpg will get better. but your still a redneck for lifting a truck to put big rims on

I bought my ski from a guy who had this bad ass flat black 80's Chev 4 door long bed beast. What was so cool was that the top was chopped off, so it was open. I think they fit could 3 skis in the back. (2 in bed, one in back seat)

That sounds pretty lucky... anything over a 31 inch bumper height measured from highest point of the bottom of the rear bumper is illegal in Illinois. And if you think modifying the bumper will make it legal... HA that is illegal also. I got pulled over every other week with my Dakota, it had 10 inches of lift and 35's. I only drove it on weekends and had to trade it 6 months after I lifted it.

Thats the same here in Virginia but if you put an aftermarket bumper they measure from the frame..

big lifts = the ghey

sawzall and lockers = the real shiat
