NOUGH with the immature runabout (aka couch) bashing. This kind of childish banter has gone on long enough, and I'm not the only one sick of seeing it. If you don't like runabouts - fine, that's your opinion. If you feel the need to put down people that like runabouts - you will not be welcome here much longer.

Read and FOLLOW the site rules, specifically the one regarding RESPECT.

I ride standup but it is immature to bash someone else's ride just cause you don't like/ride one .I use to do the same thing but I'm not so close minded now .:headbang:

Actually, the best thing to do, is just post lots of pics & tell all about your good times. The envy factor will bring them to our corner every time.

Bashing is a foolish approach, it makes you the basher, look imature. I say , kill them with kindness. Offer them a chance to ride one & see for themselves. Within a season, they will be looking to make a stand-up purchase.

We do group rides all season long. The sit downs are always wecome.
It's kind of funny to see the guys sitting & watching , while all the rest are riding, & flipping around......... pretty cool!!!

Here's a classic case in point. The wavejunkies from Va Beach. A couple of seasons ago, they were all sitdown riders. We invited them to several events & treated them with respect. They are really good riders & go way big on the sit-downs........... But they didn't get upside down. Now look at them today? I belive only one of the group has a sit-down. The rest all moved to B1's & stand-ups

I only have a couch and actually agree with what SBT said regarding the "couch bashing". The way I saw it x-h20 was more for stand up crowd but they were a lot more "tolerant" than the people on pwctoday regarding couches. In fact, since I started coming here I've hardly been back to pwctoday.

I will be getting a stand up at some point, for sure, but that's down the road (I'll warn everyone from now I'll be picking their brains ;-) ) and until then I don't mind the brand of commentary that I read regarding sit downs.

hmmm, as i recall, they were never too fond of coucher bashing. sbt has only banned me ONCE from pwct. the previous owners (and admins AHEM) banned me MANY times.

many of my friends ride couches. they also own and ride standups. hell i have a kawi SC!

its the TYPICAL idiotic couchrider that thinks that because he has a 1000 pound jetpropelled turd, he has the right to do whatever he wants.

our world would be a much better place without couchers and couches. call it immature, i call it my opinion.:werd:

Personally I don't have any beef with sitdown riders. I still own a couple myself. The problem that I have is with people that drive any pwc and don't know what they are doing or choose to just act like an a$$ on their ski.
