From ok to OMG,in about 20 minutes.

that is great i had my x2 out today and it was great no cooling problems the water is 40 degress in lake ontario , but it was fun,

I still have to hook up the dual cooling and I need a new needle and seat in the carb,but things are looking up.

i love this ski it has only 135 psi in each barrell, but she really goes no cooling issues i still cant beleif that it had a cracked cooling line, i guess the x2 gods were smiling on us to day, i want an x2 with a 701 even more , today was the most fun i ever had with my x2

Screw the 701,the 720 rocks,I have no complaints,the only issues have been with the Kawi parts.

i am sure your ski really rocks that motor is really strong i been on hx s and they have the same motor, hey wedo would you freshen up a stock 650 motor with 135 compression, i was going to install new pistons and rings, would 155 -175 compression make a lot difference in power

Yes it would make a huge difference in power,I have seen pistons fairly cheap on ebay at times.Also a pipe and a 44 mikuni will get it going pretty well,I rode madscientists ski in Daytona it rocked pretty well for a 650.

thnaks , i am going to install new pistons , when i overheated motor in fla on vacation, i had 175 compression with a ocean pro head i noticed a little piston marks but nothing major but my compression test shows that their is some wear, gordys on ebay has a sudco piston kit for 63 dollars for both , he has standard and i over

i am using a factory pipe and 42 mm carb and intake keihen , it hits pretty good for a 650,in fla for the first half hour ever on ski it was fast, going to freshen up motor after a few more rides, is your ski loud

yes, the head did make a difference in the bottom end and throttle response.

i had to tear the ski down for hull re-enforcement due to some craks that were cuased by some short rolls a the chickenbone.

should have been there it was sick. i rode on thurs and friday was having a blast w/ inversions then came really short on 1 and hurt my wrist and hand.

played host the rest of the weekend.

mine is definatley louder terry and is probably the front exhaust vs rear exhaust

Damn if yours is louder than mine its damnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn loud,I get a lot of funny looks when I ride mine,I am considering opening up the footwell again and running another cooling line to the resonator down through the footwell to see if I can tame the noise some either that or make the exhaust come out under the bottom of the ski.I was thinking of putting on a deflector using one of the front exhaust that NEFARIOUS was making but alas he isn't going to make any now,maybe Tom21 can help me out on that one.

that is so funny on my rd 350 it had expansion chambers and it was loud everybody would look but luckily i had a full face helmet,, hey wedo any excperience with wsm pistons i found a brand new set for 55 dollars with cheap shipping

I use WSM pistons in most of my rebuilds,I have not one piston related failure thus far and I build probably two top ends a week minimum here.I don't know that I would put them in a full bore race motor but for a stock engine or engine with bolt on mods sure.

I changed the rotary valve out to the 159 degree valve that goes in the 720's it quickly went from ok fast to OMG fast,the bottom end is kind of soggy though,I am thinking its porting time and I hear Group K has the HOT ticket for bottom end porting on a 720 SEADOO engine.I will know shortly as the need for speed has taken hold and Insanity has replaced reason in the modification of this Jetski.It ran all Memorial Day weekend long without incident or breakage.
