My previous paint job was so f'd up, I decided to start fresh. Big thanks to Derek Gleason for hooking me up with a paint booth, Coast airbrush for a killer deal on that crazy house of kolors paint and of course Laurel and Hydroturf for helping with the entire project.
The only thing left is the motor which I should be getting from Magoo soon.
The paint scheme is pretty much the same, with a little more white space for stickers. I also sprayed the first layer of clear with a little bit of glitter mixed in. It looks sick in the white and black when it hits the light just right. Then I shot a couple more layers of clear to make it nice and shiny.
Thanks to blowsion for replacing my blown scupper. Notice how I glassed it into the back of the ski.
The final touch was the custom ratcheting hood straps. I got so sick of breakin latches, hood hooks, and hoods, i finally did something. Those are stainless steel ratchets from suncore stainless, and I can't wait to try em out.
I can't wait to get this puppy in the water. It has been almost 6 months.
