Flatwater Pre-Riding

Me and the Otter are headed down a little early:drive: and would like to do some flat-water riding to blow the rust off before hitting the surf... Any of you local guys have suggestions on where we can go ride in some flat water hopefully sans-gators and crocs!!!:scared:

Location
Ohio
Rich...its pretty close...back over the bridge and on the left I think...

Should be lots of others ridin too I imagine. Just follow the skis.

I see boat docks up and down that... are they just not out this time of year or what? How deep is it? any gators or crocks in there?

it's a really big river and just not much traffic in January...

it's very shallow near the edge... I would ride in the channel for sure... No gators (they only hang in freshwater) or crocs (they are not in florida)..

I have seen dolphins and it's possible for a bull shark to be up that far, but I doubt it...

we DO absolutely have them in florida...but they are down south

is that where erok said down in Daytona... I was just wondering if there was any place closer... it looks like a bit of a drive...

That place is awesome to ride. There are three or four good launches that you can even use a beach cart on. The area where you launch is pretty shallow, I've hit quite a few times but it's pretty soft. Once you get out in the channel it's plenty deep enough. It's really not far away at all, it's near lollypops so maybe you could justify it that way. Hope this helps.

Its 2 minutes away...that's where I broke my ski in last time. Smooth water....watch the no wake zones.

Nice!!! I am so stoked to ride! I remember in Naples all the no wake restrictions... ugh!

there are no gators, or crocs anywhere near where we are riding...

Excellent...

I am assuming that lollypops is an exotic viewing establishment...
