it does get on plane, i just mis-informed you guys, not gonna lie. i was on a mad rage lol. i lied, not gonna make any pretty excuses to make me look not stupid.

did you ever think about why air would be coming through the housing? fill your hull up with water, spin and vibrate the shaft at a high rpm, and then pull a large vacuum from the pump side of the hull. its not the same as filling up the bilge with water on whiles its on a stand.
this may not be your problem, but just open your thinking rather than imediately rejecting an idea.
