:woot::woot:

so back in 2006 may 24th life as i knew it came to a screeching halt..made a hard right and drove straight off of a cliff...i lost my wife, my daughter, my job, my home, as i was trying to pick up the pieces and glue them back together..there was just too many missing..i started to sell the few possessions i had with me, just to pay the bills. then in late 2006 i had 2 things left. my truck, and my superjet. and the truck payment was due, along with other bills. i sold the superjet thinking it's only a ski and i can get another one soon, as long as i save my truck. fast forward to feb. 2007. my truck leaves me. every time i turned around i was getting kicked from every angle..so much stuff happened i never thought i would recover. i did manage to pick up a squarenose hull shortly before i moved to florida but never really did anything with it. i bought my x2 just before the xtravaganza in p'cola back in 08 and quickly locked up the motor, then we set it on fire..put in a new motor..etc..etc..thing never ran right. i moved back to michigan and decided that from now on i was working for myself till jobs start becoming available...

LIFE WAS REALLY SUCKING AND I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO BE TRULY HAPPY AND MYSELF IN A LONG LONG TIME...i literally lost everything i owned, and even lived in my minivan for a couple weeks.

I AM PROUD TO FINALLY BE ABLE TO SAY I HAVE MY OWN HOUSE, MY LOWRIDER IN THE DRIVEWAY, AND MY NEW BELOVED SUPERJET PARKED ON THE TRAILER BEHIND IT!!!!

it's not much but it's mine.
drove 700 miles round trip yesterday and brought her home.
90 sn
still a 650 but it does have a ported cylinder
riva red pipe
stainless prop unsure of pitch
and a few other little things

hopefully soon we'll be putting in some footholds and newturf
i'll be adding a rn handlepole i got from a friend
and i'll be riding the crap out of it all summer relearning how to ride again

ok for everyone else i wrote this the way i did for a reason...

i wanted to help explain to everyone around here why i have been on hiatus from the site...just been trying to get everything straightened out in my life and get back on track...i have gone through so much i've actually thought about a book about keeping your head up in tough times and starting to speak to youths about staying strong and showing them there are ways to get through the tough times without going down the wrong path in life

i'll be doing a bio on a new website i'm developing right now called the616life.com with the whole story of how i got where i am today don't care if anyone judges me for it or not. there is a lot of details in there i'm not proud of but i learned from and it made me a better person and stronger than i would be without them

well went out riding for a few hours on friday...woke up sore as hell sat. morning and went straight back out out the lake for more. rode a full tank before the storms came in....i can't wait to change a few things and make her my own.but i am very impressed with how well this thing hit's off the bottom...it is defiantly ported...my 650 hit's harder right off the bottom than my buddy's stock 62t/61x combo...his is having some cavitation problem..but this 650 is all i will need for this summer, that's for sure

Congrats on getting back up and riding.
And keeping your head up along the way.

So when you say you drove off of cliff... did you actually drive off of one? or is that just meant as you made a bad decision?

i made a horrible decision i will regret for the rest of my life, it will be there no matter what i do and certain people will always judge because of it...

but the good news is i'm dropping my rn pole off to the painter tomorrow, i ordered turf last week  and today i bought a set of eme footholds, a complete xmetal steering setup, new bow eyes, and an adapter for my xmetal throttle.....oh and i got my new fuel cell for my truck:biggrin: today has been an awesome day!

nothing special just a 93 4.3 extended cab s10 with a snug shell topper, shaved rear end, laying frame. bagged with all 1/2" stuff...cheech and chong interior, hidden hitch so i can still get my ski to the lake....just needed a new fuel cell cause the steel one in it right now is throwing rust and other crap into my fuel system and it's impeding my cruising
