who uses what for fillers for finish glass work? I am getting to the point where i am going to have alot of sanding to do on all the glass i have layed on my hull and hood. What filler would best suit a nice smooth finish that i can easily sand and will not look like shiot

I have been using the micro balloons for some stuff on the inside and find it pretty tough to sand... is bondo out of the question? I have seen ppl that say hell no and some that use it, but if its gonna be junk I would rather sand the micro balloon filler all day

I just got back from sanding the back end of the ski where i cut off then glassed back, I used thickened epoxy after the glass was setting to fill any voids ..... That stuff is a BIOTCH to sand.

and I need to correct myself, I am using cabosil not micro balloons

while im its on my mind, if i use the cabisol and fill in areas where the glass did not cover like i wanted (corners on the back where i cut 3'' off the hull) then sand that down and put a layer of light weight glass over that for smooth finish will that be structurally sound? i also have glass on the inside of the hull and i put cabisol around all the edges on the inside before laying that glass up to seal the inside from water intrusion.
