Enclosures?

I just installed some Rev footholds and i bought the enclosures for them but debating whether or not to add them. What do you guys think, pros and cons of them in and out. Also, im giong to hydroturf the bumper area of my ski and was wondering what everyone uses the molden diamond or cut? thanks

i didn't use mine, mainly because turfing sucks and that would make it just harder.

that was actually going to be my next question to see if there is a easy way to turf it, like seemed like it would suck.

I didn't use mine either. The Rev's hold your foot great anyway without the enclosures. Your call though. Depends on if you think you'd prefer them....and if you'd want to tackle the additional work and pain in the arse.:scratchchin:

enclosures take up tray room and limit foot positions.
i left them off on both my skis
i used B stock so I do not know difference between molded and cut, but I think after a few rides there would be no difference

i will take your enclosures if you dont want them and you can use diamond thats what i always use

I have only installed them once and we used them. I think I would only go with the right one if I did it again.

I haven't used them but seems like they would get in the way if you ever wanted ride in surf stance.

I was debating on going with the enclosures too. I decided not to use them. The REVs lock you in great. Way better than most holds on the market. I would think that breaking a leg would be much easier if you had the enclosures.

i will take your enclosures if you dont want them and you can use diamond thats what i always use

I dont know what kind of footholds and ski you have but i did cut one of the enclosures to match one of the footholds. the other one hasnt been touched.
