Has anyone sliced themselves on the top of the ratchet?
NO link.
PM EJ.
I have a piece of flat SS bar with a hold drilled through it to clamp it down tite, I just also ran it over the bolt as well so it can't come out. I also spread the fibers rather than drilling or cutting them so they won't loose strength.the attachment point at the pole bracket seems to be the weakest link.
is it just singed holes thru the poly?
or is there something stronger there I cant see?
Allright, I've finally decided to avoid drilling holes in my new Diablo hood. There was a thread a little while back with pics and info but I can't find it.
Hook us up with some contact info.

How/where did you get the ss pieces that you put in the straps where they bolt on?

I like it!:djsmilie:Simple, strong, sanitary.
That whole white gelcoat area on the hood is getting turfed.![]()
put some turf on the hood where the latch would go. the only problem i had with this system was on big throwaways if the ski landed on the side it would move the hood over a couple inches in the rear.
ej includes a little plastic peice that keeps this from happening but i didnt want to drill my hood for it.
