unrideable today... complete V@S and huge!!!!!

I got lots of pics of waves, but it doesn't really show the size well..

these storms have not been good, let's just put it that way... lots of wind and no organization at all.. still waiting for something to get in order...

Well hurry up with the editing already please!! :argue:

I'm not sure if anyone hit Monster Hole at Sebby today, but here is the report for the shore break at least (includes regional overview) with highlighted points of interest:

AM Report:
Morning Update - hearing credible reports of solid 15' faces at a certain Satellite Beach spot but breaking a mile out. Guys are getting denied. Lots of south to north drift. A bit more manageable in south Brevard but winds still northerly down this way. Winds will be in flux through the day. Word is Rhino scored a good, solid stand up barrel at a south Brevard sandbar.

Solid swell but N winds on it here. Not looking too good at all. Could be something worth getting wet if winds can turn a bit more NW/WNW here.

B]PM Regional Overview:[/B] Not much to add to the reports - very solid Earl swell continues this afternoon with sets easily pushing the double overhead range. Winds have turned a bit more NNE so most spots seeing a sideshore texture on the ocean.

REGIONAL SUMMARY:
Solid Earl swell in the water. About as big as our sandbars can handle. Winds are light N/NNW in south Brevard; winds at Patrick were N/NNW from 1-5am and the current obs is saying WNW - would expect that this WNW ob is more of an anomaly but we shall see; winds are will likely pick up some as the sun rises and the daytime heating starts. Sets are easily pushing the double overhead range. Know your limits. We will try to update as much as possible today as more visuals are called in.

Had some nice conditions close to the beach... but don't mess up or you would get pounded. Had probably 4 good re-entrys out of 20 attempts. Did a few giant rolls, then tried 2 backflips and my battery came out of the tray and got my throttle cable stuck. Out in the inlet or a few hundred yards off the beach the waves were big but messy.

Went up on the beach to fix the battery and had to hear it from a fisherman how we ruin the fishing for him and his buddies. Meanwhile there are 10 ft waves crashing over the beach. Don't know how you catch fish off the shore with waves that size.

I jumped on Steve's wammer hull and tried a couple more backies and splatted them on my head.

Don't know what I'm doing wrong. I'll post a link to the vids once they get edited.

Jersey fwaking massive.
I just took this pic 5mins ago on the beach 500' from my house. I am standing on an 12'-16' foot tall seawall and the top of this wave was EASILY 6-8 FEET OVER MY HEAD! Look at the building in the background for size reference (there is a jetty protecting that building for now). Going back to take more pics as the storm gets closer, its supposed to be most intense from now till 6pm.

ANYONE WANNA RIDE TODAY???? **** THAT!

Staring at it dead on, my eye/camera height is somewhere around 20' off the ground. Clean as hell for the size. MB holds swell really well.

This should provide a little more scale to the size.

I think he did!!

Let's hope not! Great pics!!

This was the report posted about an hour ago for Sebby and it's regional area, so hopefully a few are making it down that way, or at least somewhere that it sweet!

REGIONAL SUMMARY:

Plenty of solid swell in the water this morning. Winds are calm to light offshore. The tide is still a bit high and some spots are still a little wobbly. Looks like a good morning to get wet. The best spots still seeing overhead set waves.

Looks sick! I understand the pics don't do the size concept. When we get that much swell in the water here in Cali, there's always a few places that are a little more protected which are normally flat that start to break.

Very Schweet in NJ this morning! Several overhead and clean sets before the west wind picked up strong and started F'in it up. Hit it @7:30 this morning and it was ridiculously fun!!

we had great ultra clean overhead sets here in vb fri and the same little smaller sat, couldnt have been been any better.some sick vid to come

it was going off this am til about 11 then the wind got on it and chopped up...

early it was waist to chest, as the morning went on it got bigger til some overhead on set......big and CLEAN...was pinning it back and forth between waves with ease...

great morning!!!!!!
