I'm definitley leaning towards the x-metal for the money. Does the x-metal system need anything else to be complete besides a different nozzle? What kind of nozzle do I need? Places to find it cheap/salvage?

Xmetal system uses the raider reduction and steering nozzle.

Thrust system uses the raider reduction and GP800 steering nozzle.

Places to find it cheap/salvage? used yami parts, I haven't a clue...

flip the cable guys. and no more nozzle turning. i cant believe all you fn goo roos and it took a pot head to figure that out

Wilkey I'll try it , but i don't think I have the clearance on the pump cooling outlet . Hey are you sure wont it make the boat steer up side down ?

It's the pump casting on the exit nozzle. I should mention it is a 144 mag pump so I may have to find a heim joint with more throw. A 5mm x .8 with 36 degrees or more throw will be a hard find.

Sorry about the sound Guys i have asked my web guy to remove he said it is built in . I will speak to him about this again or if someone out there is a web guy let me know .
As far as pulling to the right the reason if any trim pulls to the right is because you are getting so much pull you are extending tension on the steering cable .
Some tricks pointed out by wilkey that are in our instructions are to turn your stator section 180 degrees to allow clearance for the steering cable and cooling boss and place the ball joint on top this will eliminate any tension on the cable .
Also properly adjusting the steering cable on your steering system bars and pump in conjunction with each other is critical .
are system as well can be done in pieces if you already have a raider type reduction nozzle and steering nozzle are pretty inexpensive .

Sound built into that flash app for the top header... has to be removed and recompiled. Need to find the original source (whoever made it).

If you already have a raider nozzle, ring, and steering nozzle, what parts of your system would be needed and how much does it cost?

Well you need to have the raider type or 2008 up reduction nozzle to start no other nozzle will work . the steering nozzle must be a 65v stamped nozzle to work with the bushing or a protec nozzle for the other type bushings . if that is the case then you would just need out kit which includes trim ring, arm ,all bushings, hardware, cable bracket , trim cable ,lever for $550
you cannot use our hadrware to try to make a cats system it is all very critical to how long of cable life you have and the amount of pull in each lever . i know you may think this is all simple but about 2 years of testing went into all these details to make this setup as great as it is . you will find just saving a bit of money and spending it on something that works will save you money and time rather than breaking cable etc and not ridding wrenching instead . we have already done this for you . any questions about any of our parts dont hesitate to call us
also side note is now available black, blue, red ,or silver and coming soon, orange green, yellow

Brian, the only way your system could be easier to install is if you jumped out of the box o parts and installed it for me. lol

If you already have a trim tube installed, I would say approx 30 minutes to install, if not, add approx 1 hour to install a trim tube. It really is extremely simple and the best system I have used so far.
