Do you get bored???

im finding i get bored between seasons... jet ski season in canada is realistaclly mid may - mid/late october, i snow board too but normally that wont kick in until late december and be done by march... so there are in between bits... we try to wrench in those times but you start doing things that dont need to be done... cabin fever kicks in....

.. most jetskiers ive met have either A.D.D. or O.C.D.

Ive been toying with getting one of those rc helicopter (with the gas engine) but probably not be able to fly it in the winter anyway........

I have had all kinds of interests I guess it started with muscle cars then into corvettes then into Harley Davidson then jets skis now dirt bikes I guess I will have to explore aircraft next.

I have been riding since 1990. From 99-2006/7 it was Wide Open Ski's. But Since our Daughter was born (2007) I have lost some interest in it. Even sold my SXR to pay for a new Mountain Bike. Looking forward to this ski season. Basically taken 2 years off (riding very little) and have really enjoyed it. My ski literally broke in May, I got it running in July but it had issues, left it that way!!!! 2007 was the same, crank came apart in July, it stayed that way. I did drop a stock motor in so I could go to the Tupelo race in August and compete, the ski ran like crap and pretty much stayed that way until I built a new engine up for 2008.

im just addicted to my ski. can't really afford any other toys. i have it bad though :1zhelp: at work , i daydream about what parts im going to put on, or where i want to ride...and when i sleep all i dream about is jetskis, and i drive all my friends nuts :aargh4:, because jetskis is all i talk about!

lol, i have been like you since 1991 yes i am a bit sick, who needs other toys when you have stand ups jet skis

I also tend to spend my paycheck on parts before I even get it. lol

Glad I'm not the only one. I bet if I could ride my ski all year around it would keep me interested much more!

Not sure what it is about this sport but after 24 years I'm still not bored with it. Bought my first ski in 1986 and have been riding ever since. Maybe it would be different if I couldn't ride the surf, I do get bored riding flat water after a few days

Lmao I'm tha same way and all my hobbies cost a crap load of money.. Pit bikes, mountain bike, bmx ( cheapest sport ), jetskis, ditch boarding, cars/trucks, sky diving, rock climbing, ect...
And when you meet a new chick and tell theM
what u do they think ya full of crap!

But I'm also glad there are people like me.. Any single hot chicks like that haha???

and I appreciated that... It was like pouring gas on my fire... All I can do anymore is dream 'bout riding that ski... :highhorse:

I too have all the expensive hobbies and with all this snow around I am trying to find the cash to add another toy...:thinkerg:
