BUMPED FOR 2010!!!

From the East: 90West to Rt2 West. Go passed the Browns Stadiuma and over the bridge through downtown. Get off at the Edgewater Exit and take a sharp right to go to the boat ramps.

From the West: 90East past the Indians stadium and around dead man's curve. Right after the sharp curve is Rt2 West (Lakewood). It is in the right lane. Go passed the Browns Stadium and over the bridge through downtown. Get off at the Edgewater Exit and take a sharp right to go to the boat ramps.

From the South: 71 or 77 North to 90 East. Go around dead mans curve and stay in the right lane. Take Rt2 West (Lakewood). Go passed the Browns Stadium and over the bridge through downtown. Get off at the Edgewater Exit and take a sharp right to go to the boat ramps.

If you want a map, look up Cleveland Waterfront Parks on Google.com

Thinking about coming down from Windsor Ontario. just wonder if you have made any arrangements with the local authorities. would hate to get this thing busted up by the coast guard or DNR or local police boats.
Sounds like fun.

I am in the process. The only thing that is questionable is grilling on the beach. We can ride there all day long (and always do). I can't get a straight answer about having the grill on the beach, however.

Yea there are a ton of grills everywhere. Most of them are 200 yards off the beach in any direction. Some are closer, the ones right behind our spot and up the hill.

Extra cars can park in upper parking lot of the park. You just continue past the park entrance and stay on the freeway. Stay right on to Lake avenue and go right at the light. Then straight into the park and all the way back till you can go no more. You will be right behind the spot and up a hill (by the grills and some bathrooms). There is a trail and steps coming down.

This would be the easiest way to get stuff to the beach I think.

There is Sunoco and a Shell less than a mile from the ramp. If you need to go there just pass the park and then at the freeways end you will see a shell. Fill up and just turn around and go back one exit to the park.

Is this spot good for my wife to hang out and watch? She's not riding this season and I don't think shell be too happy if I leave her alone by the a ramp someplace.
We're passing on FSF this year 'cause you have to ride to the site (well she is anyway :saevilw:

there are parking lots near the beach , an easy walk for sure. less than a 5 minute walk, or you can drop her off and then go drop in the ski at the ramps and meet her on the beach

Great place for the wife... there will be a lot of wives, girlfriends and spectators there. My parents are even bringing their couches!
