All good ideas and suggestions. I just had some chicken sausages from Costco. They are tequila and lime flavored and have a little kick. Each one is 100 cal and 11g protein.

I had them with some high fiber (12g/2oz) pasta elbows. Pretty good. Problem with high fiber pasta is it's kinda "grainy". Oh well. I can put up with.

The whole wheat and whole wheat with flax pasta from Trader Joes is the best tasting and has the best texture(if you like the texture of regular semolina) of all the ones I have tried.

Haha. Ditto.

Now I know that nobody ever got fat eating fruit, but what if you ate 3000 cal in fruits per day? Would you gain weight, or would the fiber "contradict" the calories? I'm sure you'd be one very "regular" person.

considering the fact that it is mainly sugar....consuming that much sugar...will most likely turn to fat.

Almonds, walnuts, sunflower seeds, and pumpkin seeds make great snacks.

All wild game for protein if you can get it, otherwise, free range meats from the store will do.

Fresh fruits and vegetables with nothing added to it. No canned :):):):), dried fruit should be a treat and eaten in moderation!!!

Steel cut oats, brown rice, sweet potatoes, and quinoa for grains. Keep this a minimum of your food intake. This is where most dieters go nuts on "Whole Grain" crap. Don't fall for it. It adds unnecessary starch to your diet, making weight loss tough. Avoid all of it if you have a gluten or wheat allergy!!!

Only dairy needed is yogurt. Has potassium and good source of protein. Avoid milk as it is higher in sugar. Goats milk would be a better choice if you can find it though as it is lactose free.

Freeze any foods not using for a bit or get those foodsaver bags to naturally preserve foods.
