Yeah I don't know how much either strap will help with "surf stance" if that is what you are shooting for. Ever boarded with both feet pointed forward? Think it through so you don't have to redo your mount points in the Summer...

I haven't attached the yet. I'm using bolts welded to washers. I'm just gonna cut circles the size of the washers in to the turf/padding and rivet/peanut butter them in.

I think?

This is how I ride too, well my other foot is forward. Maybe my front one is turned a little, but I was going to steal slut's idea and put a few nuts in there so I can adjust if need be... But when I snowboard, my other foot is forward, and face to the side not downhill, like a compleat 90 degree.... Thats why sluts idea, to me, seems like the best of all worlds, just move it around a bit if it doesn't feel good..

Everyone always tells you, ride how it feels best, don't they?

I think I'll still be able to turn my left foot a little if need be but this set up is one thing and one thing only.

Big backies on Lake Erie. I need to pull the sucka around quick!

I never turn my right foot 90 degrees. It goes in like the pic shows my shoe.

It seems that with the smaller waves on lake erie wouldn't you want both feet in the holds for backies... putting one up front will slow your rotation.
