BTW...yes the bearings in the crank can be replaced...no YOU won't be able to do it.
Are u saying your Easy-out broke off IN the starter bolt? Then you're stuck... those things can't be drilled. I had that happen to the manifold on my Mustang. Had to replace the whole thing![]()

Anything can be drilled with the correct drill bit,it will be expensive,if all else fails you can have it EDM machined out,it will be expensive.
Yes the easy out broke. Why cant i just drill out the hole and threads and use a tap with a larger thread and just use a bigger bolt? i think the easy out was softer metal then the bolt as when i first started threading it the threads just stripped off till i finally got it started.
If its $140 to go .5mm does that mean it will be hundreds more to go 3 mm out? or will they just do it all at once for about the same price?
PM Chris (Jetmanica)
Your going to put a lot of $$$ into your motor!!! It might be cheaper to buy one ready to go!
But they will take a ton more abuse than cast before letting go.Wiseco's have the ups and downs. You have to warm them up properly before just hopping on the ski and ripping it - or they'll seize.
PM Chris (Jetmanica) he has a new line of Engines. He had a few at Daytona, Ported, Fresh motor, Very, very, very nice set up. 62T cases, I think his start at 710cc & he has one ready to go now!

Does the wiseco top end kit include all the gaskets i need to rebuild?
If so that means i would be looking at ~400 for the kit, 125 for crank, then porting, boring, and machining the head i have no clue what would cost me. or i can get the crank for 125 and a used oem piston and head for probably pretty cheap.
