Did you ever get that Pole bracket from Kevin? If so, you should be set. Have fun with your rebuild. I am getting ready to do the same to the SJ. Paint, reinforce, turf, footholds and a little more motor work. Should keep me busy this winter.

NICE all torn apart! reminds me of 3 weeks ago for me. what are you doing with your pole? also what are you reinforcing with?
Going to cut the pole 2 inches, per a few people I have consulted, and use 12 oz biax with 4 oz carbon over. Heading back to pressure wash the slime out today, its soaking in krud cutter. The back feels super heavy right now and I just pulled the steering cable and pump.

Just weighed in at 113, all thats on there is the pump shoe, side sponsons, thru hull fittings, hood latch and the nose bracket. Seems fairly good for wet foam.

Going to start the defoam today, found quite a bit of repaired hull damage inside where it looks like it was run into by another race boat. Probably stay with my original plan to strengthen the bottom as well, as it was slightly compromised. Also, I will leave the hull sponsons on and not try and remove them, they go up under the bond line and were 5200'd on. There is a void area between the middle of them and the outer hull, I may try to drill holes and fill that in.

Changed my mind on the sponsons, they are off and for sale cheap. Picked up some tubbies from Montster, should be a great improvement for surf. I'm moving the holds way back from prior pics, just had them too far fwd. Most the foam is out, and it was wettttt. Easy to see when its wet when removing, it crumbles differently. Lowered the exhaust tube about an inch, may not have to alter the footholds. Still a long way to go.

Get crackin', man.
Yea I know, just ordered up the glass and supplies this morning. Going with 12 oz biax, with 8.5 oz Twill over the top for a nice look.
