Already f'ing rips, need to ride more in the surf.Sell the sj, buy a stroker for the x2!
Update, got back from Greyland today and broke the handlpole bracket in 3 places, so its deffinatly out for the season for repair and upgrades. Will post pics tomorrow.
I did, sitting on my shelf right now.:Banane13:Did you ever get that Pole bracket from Kevin? If so, you should be set. Have fun with your rebuild. I am getting ready to do the same to the SJ. Paint, reinforce, turf, footholds and a little more motor work. Should keep me busy this winter.
Going to cut the pole 2 inches, per a few people I have consulted, and use 12 oz biax with 4 oz carbon over. Heading back to pressure wash the slime out today, its soaking in krud cutter. The back feels super heavy right now and I just pulled the steering cable and pump.NICE all torn apart! reminds me of 3 weeks ago for me. what are you doing with your pole? also what are you reinforcing with?
Yea I know, just ordered up the glass and supplies this morning. Going with 12 oz biax, with 8.5 oz Twill over the top for a nice look.Get crackin', man.
