get anymore done?
Today added some 1708 under the front lip to strengthen the bond line a little, and some misc putty. Trying to get the bottom smoothing done. I don't plan to punch the sand, but after seeing the carnage at Daytona, I think anything will help.

Just recieved my new steering cable today from Parker Yamaha, picked up some Xmetal hood hooks at Daytona. Trying to get the bottom done so I can get it painted, so much to do and so little time.

Pic of the 1708 I rolled under the lip for added strength.:headbang:

hey crab what kind of footholds are u using i just got my from wdk for 49 dollars good deal they are huge
Yes, but you pad and turf to make them fit your feet the way you want them. If you don't cut out like I did at the ankles, be sure to put lots of padding in there or you will get bruises.

hydroturf has a 40 by 60 inch diamond grey turf on special for 35 dollars what do you think dark grey diamond turf would look good with white superjet, do you underpad footholds, did u use wdk footholds before you make over project

Yes those are WDK, and you will have to make the call on turf color, personally I would get the color you like. I also ordered the 8mm underpad, you can layer it. Tell them you are a member on the X-h20 and you will get a discount.

did u use the wdk footholds before your makeover and did you u use rivets to hold footholds in place, i hope i dont have to refoam the sqarenose,
Had none before the build, I put a couple screws in the front to place them, and had no tray in the back so a couple screws and some braces so I could foam them in place. Place them on a couple 2x4's and stand on them to see how they feel.

i have read that the exhaust tube will be in my way, is that right
Yup, I even lowered mine and had to just cut slightly into the front bottom with my belt sander to get clearance. You will probably need to cut perhaps 1/2 inch notch where the pipe is and glass over. It could be more or less depending on exactly where yours end up.

You will typically find wet foam in the lower half of the hull. Dry foam in the top half is normal.
I Have foamed at temps of 40-50 degrees, with pre-warmed foam components.
