Couple pics from christmas eve ride!! Twas a bit chilly

We got there figures we were not going to be able to ride. But after we walked to the water the ice was only 1/4 thick and we could see open water so we started breaking ice. Little on the cold side but it was worth it!!!!

Wow I rode today as well here in Cleveland on a river but definitely wasnt frozen. Just had some crazy looks from the fishers

That's pretty hardcore......breakin ice to ride is nuts! Were planning on goin riding Monday on lake Michigan but its also suppose to be 42 degrees time for a beach fire and backflips!

Its pretty fun. I got some go pro footage of me carving through some thin ice. Shooting chunks of ice in the spray. But after one higher speed crash my wet suit fillled up like a balloon of water and I was done lol. I got hot hands but not for my feet yet. But the water was only probally only 60 degrees coming out of the pisser.

Just got home, rideshorts and a life jacket. Nothing else needed, air temp is in the low 80's jumped in the pool to rinse off- sitting on the back deck The only ice is in my rum drink. Seriously you Yankees should come on down, I'll sponsor a ride out of my backyard! and yes, the jellies were out today, I'm a little itchy
