Always On
Try a raider 701 deluxe around 380lbs, stable fast and fun that's my loaner boat. Stock it clocked 51mph flat water, and the parts can be used in the sj especially if you need a spare motor for the rest of the summer.

The Ultra 150 is a fun sitdown and would fit the bill you describe. It is very fast, but turns flat.
If you're going to ride it 1 rider exclusively, look into a Blaster.

dont buy an ultra unless you are a GOOD mechanic :scared:

the blaster 1 may not be the best loaner since it has a learning curve...

this makes it the BEST loaner boat......

I wont loan couches to friends/family...they are waaaay too easy to go too fast and get in trouble

if they want to ride, then they will be riding a standup and getting WET!

ive said it before...if my 67 y/o mom can ride a superjet..then ANYONE can

:bow28:

i let some friends try the SJ two weekends ago..it wasn't pretty and they weren't willing to try again. i've ridden that model xp, i like it as well. thanks people that may be the one.

I agree to some extent; I have rebuilt many 66E's and V's - but the failures can be prevented easily. Main problems on E's are the PV's, WaveEater clips solve that - main problem on V's is the rear oil line slippage, also very easy fix. I have never seen one fail that wasn't due to those 2 problems. Nicasil Plating is good technology and if failures are prevented, help bore wear. I really like the design of both PV motors, I find them very easy to work on.

care to elaborate on oil line slippage for my education--we just put a riva stage 1 kit on my buddies gp1300r last night and would sure like to know any preventative measures that we could take to insure a nice long boat life--as i think its a V engine-- also would like to recommend this boat has been a great couch so far-- and "jetting" the boat (for lack of better words) last night by turning the little knobs on the riva FI controller beats the poop out of jetting carbs:cool2:
