That fitting is aluminum. Once they corrode they'll never come off. If you absolutely don't want to leave it on and paint around it then you have to cut it off with a dremmel, which will take you less than 30 seconds.

yeah i couldnt get mine off this past winter so i think im going to spend the extra money on my current build.

I went with the stainless bilge and pissers. Only ones you'll ever have to buy. I have to replace the aluminum ones every season as I haven't had a hull last that long, and they NEVER come out for me, even with anti-seize. The stainless ones area worth every penny.
