Thank you to everyone that helped me and voted for my ski. I had no intention of not completing the ski until the minutes before it was to be displayed, but that's the way it went and it turned out awesome. I'll do a throrough summary writeup later when I get more time and better pics.

I need to give a big thanks to my sponsors and contributors.

Paul with Lehr Performance Watercraft did all the motor work and also supplied me with tons of parts and advice. I spent lots of time on the phone with him and he made sure that I had everything to get the ski running.

Pat Bogart with X-Metalworks sold me at least one of everything he makes plus made me a custom exhaust pipe/splitter that allowed me to run dual rear exhaust.

Ollie at Twist Graphics put in some serious time working with me to create the graphics look that I wanted. He cut all the vinyl and we spent most of a Saturday at his place doing the install to make sure it came out just right.

Kevin Collins at Legdrag gave me some great service on getting some parts. I had to call him several times with last minute bits and pieces and they were always shipped out same day to keep the build moving along.

Emily, my wife. She put up with me trashing the garage and spending way too much time out there for the past 8 months. As usual, I spent way more money than planned and she went with it and allowed us to struggle through it.

Individual support. SJBrit (the speedy turf master), Royal Flush, and Yamaslut all helped with turf and various last minute aspects of the build. Kurtwolf helped me with carb plumbing and several other people dropped by to lend a hand and get the ski together in time. Sorry if I forgot anyone. I've had a lot running through my head lately.

I finally got to ride the ski on Sunday and it is AWESOME. It has a different feel to it because of all the changes, but I think I'm really going to like it once I get used to it. The forward placement of the footholds feels good for me and the dual rear exhaust sounds pretty mean. I've got a few issues to work through on some small things, but overall I'm very pleased with the finished product.

Again, I want to thank everyone for the compliments, the help, the parts and most importantly, your votes. I hope this build sparks some ideas for others to do some creative mods for next year's buildoff. I don't plan on entering next year, but I hope that plenty of others will get creative and build some skis.

There were 9 killer boats out there!!! 10 if you count the raft!
Each had something unique that I had never seen before...

But this one had about 50 things I had never seen before!!!:hail::hail::hail:

I can't even imagine the work and creativity it took to finish that boat. I'll bet that boat has more hours than any build-off boat from all three years. I love the ride...it handles kinda in-between an SXR and a SJ. Great power too!

It is truly a one of kind ski. There will never be another like it!

I can't wait to see detailed pics of all the buildoff boats!

I have to say there was no way in the world that boat wasn't gonna win... When I first saw it a week or so, I almost fell over... Huge congats to Garrett for all the work and to Emily for putting up w/ it... You guys freaking rock!!!!!

I need to do an update and more detailed pictures. I've had a few small issues, but so far everything is holding up fairly well. I'll work on that and post something detailed real soon.
